As a young adult, you are searching for what you want to do when you grow up.
Many of you want to find a career that will be satisfying personally and financially, and eventually, you want to successfully land a job in that career.
“So what are you planning to do after school?” Well, the problem is that you don’t know what you’re really interested in doing yet. You’re not sure how someone is going to hire you, because you don’t know what you have to offer a potential employer.
You might have little to no idea what to do after school. Or you might have too many ideas and thoughts, and you don't know where to start. Either way, you probably have a rising sense of panic because you just know everyone else already has it all figured out, and you’re the only one struggling.
I know this feeling all too well. As a high school and college student, I had my favorite subjects and clubs, but I didn't know how my academic success would actually translate into a real job that paid me money. I was also convinced that I had absolutely nothing to offer anyone, because I had never had a full-time job before. I felt like the working world was too scary and abstract.
This is why I created Campfire.
The Campfire Curriculum
As a working professional, I have helped many young adults build their confidence and acquire the tools to succeed in their professional life.
As the founder of Career Camp, I have been working with young adults from high school to post graduate through workshops, one-on-one coaching, and material review for more than a decade.
Don't wait until you need a job to start building your career.
Take time to explore careers and understand your own values. Otherwise, when the time comes to make career decisions, you won't know what you really want. You'll choose things for yourself depending on what other people believe is prestigious, high-paying, and successful.
As a young adult, you are full of potential and talent and have so much to contribute.
Unlock that potential through Campfire.
